Batts Tax Service creator, Tim Batts, began preparing taxes while earning his Accounting Degree from SELU in the late 70’s, following in the footsteps of his mother who earned her Accounting Degree from SELU and prepared taxes also. In the 90’s, he prepared taxes out of his home and eventually carried this clientele over to create Batts Tax Service as it stands today.

Having worked under Tim, Nick Batts decided to continue his father’s business by stepping into the role of lead tax preparer and owner in 2013. Since then, he has been joined by Brandi Batts Roth as our office manager/bookkeeper, Chris Kelley as a tax preparer, Lane Batts as a tax preparer, and Margeaux Murray Batts as remote tax preparer.

With a combined experience of over 20 years, the employees of Batts Tax Service are dedicated to helping clients get the most out of their tax preparation appointment.
